Our Story

Madison McQuality (Miss Maddie) turned her passion for art into a successful Etsy Shop at 14. She customized a variety of items including masks, cups, paintings, and more! After graduating from Topsail High School, she knew she wanted to pursue art full time in some way. In December 2024 she began teaching classes under her Etsy name, "The Mad Art Studio", and opened her own place in September 2025. She is fully CPR certified and has years of experience working with kids through teaching, babysitting, and running summer camps.

Can I drop off my child or should I stay?

All kids classes and camps are drop off only. Pick up times are listed in each event description.

Do I need to register in advance?

Please register as soon as you can as our classes can fill up quickly and so we can plan for our expected attendance.

How can I find out about upcoming classes?

Join our mailing list, or follow our Facebook Page to stay updated and receive special offers!

Where can I park?

In our designated parking lot on the left side of the building, or across the street. Please don’t park in the driveway!

Are you hiring?

At the moment we are not, but please reach out with any questions.

Do you take donations?

Yes please! We're always looking for various art and craft supplies to use for classes. Feel free to drop them off anytime.

Studio Basics

Refunds & Cancellations

If you cannot make it to your booking, please notify the studio as soon as possible and we will get back to you.

Clothing

Please dress to make a mess! We are not held responsible for clothes being stained, damaged, etc.

Photography

By signing up for classes, parents give permission for the studio to photograph their child and artwork for marketing (e.g., website, social media).
If you do not wish for your or your child’s image to be used, please let us know!

Communication

Updates will be sent via email regarding any changes to classes.
Customers are encouraged to communicate any questions or concerns to the studio.

Safety Guidelines

All attendees must follow instructions provided by the instructor.
Please inform us of any allergies or conditions that may affect participation.
Security Cameras are located in the exterior of our building for safety purposes.

Emergency Procedures

In case of an emergency, parents/guardians will be notified immediately.
Contact information must be provided at registration.

Behavior

Disruptive behavior (e.g., bullying, refusal to follow instructions) may result in early dismissal.
Parents will be notified of a child's repeated disruptive behavior.
